'Art Pod' Art Gene's Capital Project Phase II
Art Pod aims to redevelop and physically link the existing artists' studios, and galleries through the quadrangle garden and provide artists' accommodation. The project will upgrade environmental controls and access to better facilitate exhibitions and 'International Touring' shows featuring works which require a stable and regulated environment. Art Pod will also improve facilities for our growing number of visitors.

Art Pod will be informed and extended by the incorporation of a new body of research undertaken through the formation of a new artists' Architectual Space Research Group (currently in development) which will widen the practice skills and 'knowledge bank' around 'Art Pod' and engage artists working on the edges of architecture and urban design.
